Our next project in the pipeline... Taking 2 very poorly Jaguar XK8s and building a historic rally car.

The 4.0 V8 will be fully overhauled with new timing chains and full cooling system flush and repaired as necessary.

One of the donor cars comes with a very handy fully reconditioned gearbox which will save time and expense.

Once the mechanicals & interior are refurbished, we'll be passing it over to Romsey Vehicle Bodyshop for a very eyecatching paint scheme, ready for long haul Euro road rallies ;-)

Following the retirement of our paint and bodywork wizard last year, we've struggled to find someone who meets the expectations of our clients and ourselves.

Having now run a selection of modern and classic cars through Romsey Vehicle Bodyshop we are very pleased to be able to say they hit the high mark we set.

We will continue to offer our restoration and servicing for modern classics, but moving forward, all our bodywork and repairs will be completed by them. We are happy to provide no obligation, all inclusive, quotes or simply put you in direct touch.

Have look at this latest example of a full bodywork refresh, removing some light accident damage to a door, plus 33 years of car park dings and scraps. With our full mechanical and interior overhaul, it is now better than when it rolled off the production line over 30 years ago.

This really is the unicorn of ex-military Land Rovers and incredibly rare to find in such original condition. Had a light recomissioning after sitting in a dry garage for nearly 15 years. 5 new period correct tyres on refurbished wheels (in correct Bronze green). Can be returned to LHD at additional cost.
