After our post about the new Skylight in our Skyline poptops we had alot of people suggesting they won’t be able to see the window from down stairs when the bed was in position and it would be great to be able to see through it!
This was exactly what we where asking people and what they would want, so today we have made a bed with a removable section to see through and put use to the Skylight even when the bed is down or up!
This is not a finished item yet as we are going one step further tomorrow and installing a halo around the opening.
The pictures show the bed down and up and covered for sleeping, as yet we have only tested the bed to 150kg!

About a year in now from launching this halo bed system we have to say it sure has been a very popular addition to the Skyline range.

The Halo bed system we have been asked for more pictures of what this system looks like in our out of the van. As you can see it’s a double layer bed system for the Halo lights with a internal cover panel really cleaning the system up 💫

So we are looking to introduce this Skylight into our range of poptop’s and wanted to ask for people’s view on it.
We have been asked countless times if we could design and install a large window into our roofs….. so here it is.
Being the manufacturer of the roofs, we are able to install extra strength into the fibreglass core, giving us the extra support needed.
We have today installed this system into our demo van to see what the benefits are and we are personally really loving it!
The size of the viewing area is 600mm by 1200mm.
We have also made a thermal cover to block off the light when sleeping and give the thermal properties back to the installation.
We will be installing this system into a few of our new customer fits to test out in the field, and see what the feedback is like 💫
EDIT: a lot of people asking about the lack of solar panels with this Skylight, we can fit two 120watt panels to this roof, giving us an impressive 240 watts of solar.
