On this day in 1997, a car broke the sound barrier!

British driver Andy Green took the jet-powered Thrust SSC to an incredible 763 mph in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert — becoming the first driver to officially break the sound barrier on land.

That’s quite a bit faster than the morning commute! 😂

If a warning light has appeared, your car is making a noise it definitely wasn’t making last week, or something simply doesn’t feel quite right, it’s worth getting it checked.

Andy can take a look and help work out what’s going on – preferably before that little problem decides it wants to become a much bigger one. You know what to do!
