JOB VACANCY - Vehicle Technician

We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our busy team

• Full Time - Mon - Fri
• Salary Range £34,000 - £40,000 + bonuses
• No contracted Saturday work
• Unlimited Overtime
• Immediate Start

The role offered if for a full-time general vehicle servicing and repair technician. Only applicants with appropriate hands-on experience or qualifications in the motor industry and a full UK driving licence should apply.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks
• Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards on all vehicle makes and models
• Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices for both self and others
• To test and diagnose faults as requested
• To examine vehicles, recognize and provide a written report on vehicle or components defects or systems of impending failure
• Complete relevant service documentation (job cards, service reports) in line with warranty and Company requirements
• Promote and maintain the Company image
• Ensure that the company housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
• Keep up to date on all technical service instruction data supplied Key Competencies
• Qualifications as a technician in motor industry
• Awareness and understanding of customer requirements
• Ability to learn new skills and behaviours in order to develop yourself for the benefit of the business
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
• Able to analyse and rectify vehicle faults through the evaluation of relevant information and development of appropriate solutions
• Able to work as part of a team
• An eye for detail, combined with technical knowledge
• Comply with legal guidelines
