Mamod TE1A traction engine box trailer 1/20th scale.
3d printed trailer that I have designed and printed. It is made with both filament and resin printing processes and is designed to be paired with the Mamod and Wilesco steam traction engine range.

It will be supplied in kit form (as per the picture) ready for you to assemble. Assembly is very straight forward. You may also want to paint the wheels to your chosen colour scheme.

Components as follows:

COMPONENT DETAIL

Wood effect filament trailer box (260mm length x 135mm width x 42mm height) Wood effect PLA filament and black resin edge detail.

Black PLA filament trailer chassis with rear tow hitch hoop with M4 brass inserts to screw mount to box.

Pivot steering pin and tow hitch pins made from High strength black resin.

Towing hitch and pivot yoke made from Black PLA filament.

Wheels Grey ABS like resin (ready to paint).

Tyres Black rubber.

Axles 3/16” (4.75mm) metal rod with wheel hub caps.

Mounting screws M4 blacked fl**ged button head screws.

3d printed log trailer that I have designed and printed myself. It is made with both filament and resin printing processes and is designed to be paired with the Mamod and Wilesco steam traction engine range.

Pivot steering pin and tow hitch pins made from High strength black resin.

Towing hitch and pivot yoke made from Black PLA filament.

Wheels Grey ABS like resin (ready to paint).

Tyres Black rubber.

Axles 3/16” (4.75mm) metal rod with wheel hub caps.

Log support uprights 4mm diameter threaded studs with fl**ge nuts.

It’s been a while since adding new post, but not to say I haven’t been busy and some projects are confidential.
One project which is currently in wip is a working RC model of K7 Blue Bird hydro plane with electric ducted fan producing over 5kg static thrust.
This model probably won’t break any records, but being about a metre long should look pretty scale.
Looking to have a test model March/April 2025.

Another new part for the ongoing spares list for the Snap-on 130 turbo mig welder.

This part is a mounting bracket for the coil pack sensor and is un-obtainable as most of the spare parts for this welder have be discontinued.

Russian IIyushin II-96 static model repair

This model is of a Russian airliner IIyushin II-96 (44” wingspan) roughly 1/56th scale was probably built backing the mid 90’s for a travel agents/ reception foyer.

I was asked to reproduce the missing horizontal tail stabilzer and winglets.
But thought I would add a little detail to the jet engines with some turbo-fans.

Think these came out great considering there only 29mm diameter.

The model is off for a clean up and respectful paint touch up, so will update the pictures in the new future with the finished job.

New part, designed and in production.

Yamaha Tenere 700 motorcycle Anti-vibration bracket for speedo clocks.

This bracket helps brace the speedo clock from heavy vibration when traveling off road/rough terrain.

Made from Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) which is a thermoplastic that you can 3D print and has many properties that make it good for engineering and outdoor purposes.

Diorama models seem to be getting very popular with hobbyist/scene creators.
We do quite a lot of this stuff, but this one’s a first.

A request from a client 1/10 scale model industrial air compressor unit for a garage diorama.

We remodelled the design from pictures from the manufactures brochure.

The client is in the process of getting this model professionally painted, should look great, can’t wait to see it finished👍

Wow it been along time, since we last posted, but we haven’t been sitting around twiddling our thumbs.

We have a new addition to our printing arsenal,
A 350x350x400mm filament printer.
This means we have a larger printing capacity both in terms of size of parts and output.
Added diversity to our printing capabilities.
Btw tea mugs for size reference😁

Plus we have sourced a 3d printer material supplier in the UK that offer recycled plastic 3d printer filament and also use recyclable reels.
This is great news for the environment.

RC D12 Suzuki super carry twin wheels!

Request from a D12 model truck owner who wishes to have twin rear wheels to be different and to take the extra payload in the back, obviously😁.
So designed scale rear twin wheels with tyres to match the original fronts.

I think these came out really nice.
