Today we have a 2017 Audi A4 1.4 TFSI in today for EPC light on and loss of power.

The owner was naturally worried that it could cost thousands to fix.

Booked in for investigation today and we found a turbo charger boost system performance too low fault code.

The car is not boosting when observing live diagnostic data.

A visual inspection of the turbo quickly revealed the fault to be the actuator has detached from the turbo causing no boost. This is due to the clip corroding and taking its exit!

So a new clip fitted, all within the standard investigation cost. The car now boosts perfectly and the owner is relieved. šŸ˜Ž

Misfiring F13 BMW M6 in today.

Looks like weā€™ve found the fault here. This spark plug was changed by BMW 19k ago but has failed before itā€™s next interval.

The engine compression as exiting the combustion changer through the body of the spark plug!

Thankfully, it didnā€™t break away at the tip and destroy the engine.

New plugs and 3 new ignition coils got this car running back to normal.

E93 M3 in for preventative conrod bearing replacement.

Now those in the know, will recognise that this issue affects the S65 engine (along with other M cars).

This one is have genuine BMW revised 702/703 rod bearings, bolts, sump pan gasket, 2 new engine mounts, genuine BMW oil filter and of course, Castrol Edge 10W60 oil.

Darrenā€™s Audi A3 2.0 Tdi in today for a new timing belt kit and the switchable electronic coolant pump replacement, full service and rear brake pads.
We saved Darren over Ā£450 compared to Audi dealership and carried out the service and digital service history update.
