Today we MOT tested this lorry for Imps Motorcycle Display Team . Imps is a charity organisation that was set up many years ago by Roy Pratt MBE in the hope to help disadvantaged children of east London to get off the streets, away from gang culture and other troubles, to help them develop, grow, and become disciplined in their early years to give them a chance in life.
Being a charity, we have done this job "on the house". And we would like to shout out a few people that have really helped along the way with this, and have done their work for a good cause free of charge,
Matt Towler from Cx3 Who carried out a full detail, painted the dull plastics and cleaned the lorry up hugely from top to bottom. Alan Pattison for his help with the signage printing and fitting. Nicole Louise Osborne for going the extra mile beging and pleading for an MOT slot after our original one got cancelled less than 24hrs before it was due, and Liam Pollard for his work and efforts in getting this motor tip top roadworthy and ready for test.
Unfortunately Roy passed away recently, leaving a huge hole in the team, but with the truck back on the road now, the kids can carry on riding the motorbikes and continue to make him proud for wherever he may be watching from. RIP Roy, it's an honour to serve the Imps this way 🩵💛
