It feels like we spend our lives just waiting for parts. It is the bain of a garages life.
And when they do finally turn up they are invariably the wrong bits & have to start the entire process over again.
In most instances the parts suppliers dont care and doesn't cost them in time or money.
The garage however has a ramp that is occupied and only makes money as long as it is productive.
We as a garage always try & fit the best quality parts available, as we don't want to do the job twice & don't want the customer to be inconvenienced but we have noticed a drematic drop off in the quality or parts, even main dealer parts aren't infallible.
The garage is doing the best they can and are stuck in the middle between poor parts supply & a customer desperate for their car.
Remember when you come in that if the garage is anything like ours we are only trying to do our best for you.
So be gentle

⚠️ This 2019 Peugeot 3008 Was Close to Major Engine Failure ⚠️
Engine management light on.
Lack of power.
Our diagnostic assessment revealed a failing wet timing belt that had cracked and begun breaking up. Debris had blocked the oil strainer, causing oil pressure issues — the belt was close to snapping.
🛠 We replaced the wet belt kit with genuine parts, removed the sump, and cleaned out all debris.
