Windscreen Sunstrips. Tiny touches that can make a huge difference to your driving experience. The low sun or bright sun glare can be really annoying and even lead to slowing the car down to a walking pace at times. Not good if you have traffic following you or coming up fast behind you.

Fitting -
We talk you through the film choices and offer sensible and honest advice about the positioning of the sunstrip to avoid any visibility issues including the laws in place.There are different light transmission films depending on your eye sensitivity which you can trial first.
We're able to adapt the sunstrip around the technology attached to the interior rear view mirror without any problems.

Window films don't need to be dark tinted or highly reflective to reduce the solar heat gain into a property.
This high light transmission film is able to reduce quite sensible levels of heat without compromising the natural daylight into the room. This is something more and more people are wanting when they come to us for help. With access to multiple brands, colours and technical specifications, we're able to assist you in finding a film that'll suit your needs.
We offer both internal and external versions, the latter offering better heat rejection rates, and all still have the 99% UV filtering inbuilt, just like all our solar films.

A repeat visit last week to a school Nursery wing in Bridgwater, Somerset. Multiple films used for different reasons required by the occupants of the building, whilst some consideration for those who are outside, parents and visitors/deliveries etc. e.g too much reflection.

Installation of some external grey window film to an office window for glare and privacy issues without too much external reflection, external mirrored reflective film to cool a rest room, providing as much heat rejection as possible and frost film to the entrance doors to provide a moderate level of privacy from visitors waiting outside the doorway area.

Internal and external window films come in a variety of colours and shades.

Job
This recently applied external Dual 25 solar window film was used to reduce heat and glare into the multi-user office space. Because of the type of glazing in the roof space, external film was the only viable option. The up side for the client in having an externally applied window film is the greater heat rejection rate into the office environment than an internal equivalent film would be able to offer.
The resulting effects. Cooler and more comfortable with reduced sunlight glare.😎🥵

External films
The general concept of externally applied window films is that any energy from the sun will hit the film surface first and be reflected away before entering through a typical 25mm (1 inch) thick sealed unit.

Technology
The advancement of external solar window films over the last couple of decades has seen better lifespans and warranties due to improved weatherable coatings. When we started back in 2000 the lifespans were around 4 years. Now it's not unusual for a film to reach 7 - 10 years.
