Here's my latest project. I've built an engine test rig with a water brake dynamometer. Initial runs are promising but difficult to control without lots of helpers! Im making the addition of data aquisition technology and computers and will be making videos on YouTube. I'll post links on here.

Finished my first gearbox for over 3 months as I had a new knee backing December. I'm fitting every box with a weaver plate and a little sticker. Don't know if that'll stay put! (the sticker not the weaver plate). The diff was bent/distorted and I had to test 9 old ones before I found a straight one.

Another engine painted and on its way back together. It had coolant in the oil caused by the liners sinking on extremely old base gaskets and therefore jot enough pinch at the head gasket/liners. I'm trying a new paint.

Mark Harding trained in engineering at Guildford University and Technical College. He has worked as a mechanic in Triumph, Renault and Ford garages.

He has trained as a Citroen Technician on BX, XM and Xantia specialising on engine and gearbox problems. For a short time he worked as an MOT tester.

​Mark's introduction to vintage vehicles started with his father who had a large boot Normale which he converted to right hand drive.
