British Motor Heritage brand new mini shell nearing completion. Full Inside/outside/underside job painted in Rover Midnight blue. This has been interesting one to do and it’s had lots of interest from people passing through the workshop.
Looking forward to seeing it built up and on the road.
Back to the BMW E30 Track/road car next.

Volkswagen Golf MK5 Full outer sill panel replacement. Sill was found to be completely rotten underneath the thick original Volkswagen seam sealer/stonechip. New complete panel ordered and welded is as per original. Car then sent for a fresh MOT.

Hope Everyone has had a good Christmas and new year! Lots of work going on here two big long term projects taking shape as well as the usual MOT work and paintwork.
E30 M3 Project C pillar kit is now bonded and blending started. Lots more filler work and tweaking to do.
Honda civic Coupe big welding job having both rear arches inner/outer, suspension mounts, sills and various other rot cut out.

MG Midget clutch and release bearing sorted recently. Engine was stripped down and removed to get access to the clutch release bearing which had broken up into pieces. New roller bearing upgraded type installed to stop it happening again. Clutch slave cylinder bleed ni**le extension pipe also fitted. Pleasure to work on cars like this! 😍

Land Rover Freelander engine change recently completed.
This was an interesting job we were tasked with build one good one out of two! So decent engine removed from the donor truck and put into the rust free truck. Engine given a good check over while out with belts and fluids all changed. Back out on the road ready for the winter!

We are always looking to book in your vehicles for general repairs old or new. We fit these in between bigger restoration and paint jobs.
From a bulb to an engine replacement we are always happy to help! 😀

Skoda kodiaq front door repairs sorted recently. The front door had been shunted forwards by a caravan so needed a fair bit of fettling to get the door opening correctly again. Rear door and wing blended to ensure good match. New door moulding ordered and fitted. Please give us a call or message to book in your car.

The MK3 Mini shell I have been helping with has now had its underside painted. Prepped completely, welds dressed, epoxy primed, gravitex stonechip applied then 2k top coat on top. Engine swap done recently on this mk5 golf 2.0 tdi. Oil pump failure on the original engine caused it to seize and ruin the turbo in the process. Second hand engine sourced by the owner. Engine built up with new cam belt, thermostat, rocker gasket, turbo, oil pickup pipe cleaned, duel mass kit and all new fluids. Car is now running perfectly back with the owner. Had these steels banded 2.5” by Damian in Tiverton. Prepped and painted in solid grey 2k. 🤟🏻. We always prefer to have wheels acid dipped and/or sandblasted prior to painting this ensures no nasty old paint or corrosion is left on the wheels. We are always doing wheels some I forget to take pictures. Please drop us a message for quotes ! 😀
