🤝 LOCAL SKILLS SWAP

I’m looking to try something a little different with GC Automatic Driving School…

I’m happy to offer automatic driving lessons in exchange for a skill or service from someone local.

A couple of things I’d particularly be interested in:

🏋️ Fitness advice / training

🇫🇷 French language lessons

The idea is simple — we agree a fair exchange based on the time and value involved. For example, a driving lesson in return for an equivalent amount of your time/skill.

I’m particularly interested in finding someone local to Royston/Barnsley.

🚗 6 months full time as a driving instructor! 🚗

Today marks roughly 6 months since I took the plunge and went full time as a driving instructor.

What a 6 months it’s been. It’s certainly been an experience, filled with some great moments and memories.

I’m still pushing myself to be better and improve as an instructor. I don't think you will ever stop learning in this job.

One thing that as genuinely surprised me over the last 6 months is the support I’ve had from people around me. My family, friends, local community and especially my students and their families have been absolutely amazing.

People have shared my posts, recommended me to friends, sent people my way, tagged people in posts and generally helped get my name out there.

Some of you have probably promoted my business more than I have 😂🫶🙌 and honestly, I can’t thank you enough.

The best bit for me is the people I’ve met along the way. Watching nervous pupils become more confident and seeing people pass their tests is an unbelievable feeling, knowing I’ve played a small part.

10 × 4-hour intensive sessions

5 × 4-hour sessions + 10 × 2-hour sessions

If, after completing the initial 40 hours, I do not consider the learner to be at the required standard to take their practical test, I will provide a further 10 hours of tuition FREE OF CHARGE.

A fantastic week for Jed Hammond, who passed his Theory Test with near-perfect scores! 👏🔥

He's also taken to driving incredibly naturally and has made some brilliant progress behind the wheel.

Despite having only 5 lessons so far, we're already looking at securing a Practical Test date in the next couple of months! 🚗💨

What a drive from Callum this morning in Barnsley, finishing with an amazing 1 Driving Fault on his Practical Driving Test! 🚗 💨

You should be seriously proud of yourself, pal. 👏

You’ve stayed consistent with your lessons, put the work in, and in just 5 months you’ve developed into an amazing driver. To then go and pass in style with just 1 fault is absolutely brilliant! 💪🔥

It’s been a pleasure watching your progress from where you started to where you are today.
