Changing the transfer box oil on a Jaguar Land Rover vehicle is an important part of maintaining its four-wheel-drive system, helping prevent expensive mechanical failures and keeping the vehicle performing as it should.

This oil has been drained out of a 2019 Jaguar F - Pace SVR which had a strange juddering sensation. After a little time spent investigating the issue we highlighted that the transfer box oil hadn’t been changed.

Looks like we caught the issue just in time 🔧.

Transfer box filled with new oil, juddering sensation now cured.

2020 Jaguar E Pace P250 2.0 Petrol Ingenium.

This vehicle was recovered into us with an engine misfire and the engine management light displayed.

A few hours spent to conclude the issue was being caused by this particular part - Variable Valve Lift Unit.
