Who we are...

We are Cooke Group Holdings LTD and have a number of companies in our group including Kelbrook Classics LTD and Cooke Mechanical LTD amongst others, we specialise in recomission and restoration of classic and 4x4 vehicles. We are currently working on a new exciting addition to the garages with parts and engine restoration amongst other ancillary services

We have been operating full time since 2019 and are a family owned business employing 16 people in the local area. We strive to keep the family feel and our colleagues valued

A little piece of history on this 1976 Triumph Stag.

We’ve currently got this beautiful Triumph Stag in the workshop, and while changing the tyres, our technicians spotted something rather interesting on the old set…

They were stamped “Made in W. Germany”

A small detail, but a fascinating reminder of just how much history these cars can carry. West Germany existed until German reunification in 1990, making that little stamp a real throwback.

The old tyres have now been replaced with a fresh set, but we thought this little bit of history was too interesting not to share!

Another classic back to its best🔧

This Series 1 came to us fitted with a Series 3 2¼ petrol engine and needing a few jobs to get everything working together properly.

✔️ Complete brake overhaul

✔️ Engine assessed after being overbored to +.060 (plus sixty thou) and running lean

✔️ We re-jetted the carburettor to compensate for the increased displacement and get proper running.

✔️ Fabricated an exhaust system to marry the Series 3 engine to the Series 1 running gear and chassis

It’s the little details that make all the difference, especially when keeping these classics reliable while staying true to their character.
