Another complete beginner in the hot seat

Alex joined me the other night with his brand new box fresh machine so I could show him how to set it up and actually use it.

These welders get smaller and smaller! After a 3 hour session, Alex was laying down some decent welds and learning different welding techniques. Once the lesson was complete he went away with clear guidance of what he needs to practice and how his machine works.

Hello everyone, sorry I've been very quiet and been very busy with my full time work teaching at the college I work for. Last night James came in to see me for a two hour lesson

James has a classic mini and wanted some help and advice to aid with his welding. He bought his own machine in and I talked him through and showed different techniques, products and tools to help him along with his journey and the rebuild of his project.

Today I had Tim in the workshop. He's currently doing a level 2 welding course but has never worked with thin gauge steel.

Today, I been teaching him different techniques used for repairing vehicle bodys to achieve a seamless finish and minimal distortion.

No two lessons are exactly the same , and I like offer a tailored approach to achive your goals.

We are taking bookings for lessons!

This is Hislam. He completed 4 hours of MIG welding practice over 2 Saturday mornings using his own machine. It became clear very quickly his machine needed to some parts as it was old and faulty so I ordered them for him and fitted them ready for the second session.

His old Clarke is welding well now, and best of all he now knows how to set it up and use it going forward.
