Strong winds are expected again tomorrow ( Sunday morning)
I had a few calls on Friday that possibly could have been prevented by just checking a few simple things...
Make sure windows and roof vents are closed tight.
Handbrake on, legs wound down .
Check that nothing is sitting around that can blow and hit the body.

Thanks to Garth for sorting my van out for me, failed MOT on Monday needing a bit of welding, fitted me in straight away, working in the wet and late into the night, fantastic job was done keeping my wee van and me on the road for business.

Since the latest Calor Gas announcement in regards to the change in there Gas Bottle supply, we have seen/heard lots of confusion surrounding it! With concerns of not being able to get Gas bottles moving forward. It seems people seem to think that all small bottles are being discontinued. It is only the 3.9kg propane, 4.5kg butane, and the 6kg LITE propane that will no longer be available after the 1st February 2023. Just to clarify the Standard 6kg Propane & 7kg Butane will remain the same ✅ 0

Hello everyone

So as the camping season comes to an end this year you may be looking to purchase an end of season bargain caravan , motorhome or even thinking about some repairs to your existing leisure vehicle, but if thinking about buying I can't stress enough to be careful what you are buying , I've seen some vans this year that people have bought and thought they got a "bargin" unfortunately that wasn't the case as some the vans weren't even roadworthy". For your own sake don't buy just on that feel good fuzzy feeling you got when viewing as this sometimes isn't quite case we all work to hard just to throw are money away!

Some sellers can be lovely but they themselves sometimes have no idea if the leisure vehicle they are selling has any issues or not especially if they have no recent documentation to back this up !!!

If your going to buy please get an inspection carried out and at the very least a water ingress check!!
I can offer pre purchase inspections as well as many other services.
Should you need an inspection or any other service work or repairs please don't hesitate to send a message.
Please don't get caught out or leave things to late

Hoping everyone is well and enjoying what summer we have had so far this year.
I just wanted to warn people that I've seen a few caravans over the past months that people have bought that were not in not great shape, sold as dry vans but when I've inspected them I've found some serious issues and even one van was a total write off just last week!!!
I hate seeing people loosing hard earned money so please be careful when buying privately.
Sometimes that deal that seems good at the time isn't as good as you initially thought, I offer a pre purchase inspection that could save you a fortune for a small outlay at the time of purchase and remember you can put a deposit on a caravan pending an inspection, most sellers will be happy for you to have this done.

Can I take the opportunity to thank all customers for there continued support through another difficult year of camping,
hopefully next year things will settle down and we can get back to normality again but until then stay safe and enjoy time with your family and friends.
