I believe passionately in environmental issues which is why I've chosen to use this particular car for teaching folk to drive. It's powered purely by electric meaning it produces no emissions and virtually no sound. All this makes for a very pleasant experience as you learn the ropes of operating the car. No more screaming engines, stalling and crunching gears, not to mention breathing in the diesel or petrol fumes, no, in this car you simply select D for drive and away you go. The car has a host of user friendly features to make your driving experience more pleasant such as heated leather seats, heated steering wheel and automatic wipers and lights. I cover all areas of Ards and North Down and use the Ards test centre for your practical test. I will start and end each lesson at your home or work and will design the lesson around days and times that suit you and can be as flexible as you need. For many years I have used a manual car for lessons but feel that with the 80% fall in the sale of new diesels along with the 300% increase in EVs (electric vehicles) being sold, it was the right time to move into the world of electric. In fact our own government have pledged to completely stop the production of petrols and diesels in only a matter of years from now! When you pass, you'll have an automatic licence which entitles you to drive ANY automatic car, not just an electric one so the choice is yours. So why not jump off the sinking ship of noisy, polluting petrol and diesel cars and climb onboard with the future of driving? It's only going one way folks so be there at the start and learn to drive with VOLT, you won't regret it.
