Honda jazz with a Collapsed ignition barrel and steering lock on 🙄 we recovered this from banff petrol station tonight back to the workshop for repair.

Bmw in for electric boot strut replacement.

Customer came in to confirm the boot struts had failed on her x3.After a small discussion and some research we decided that ordering new ones online was the cheapest way forward for the customer over main dealer prices.

Both boot struts ordered from an approved bmw specialist at a fraction of the cost of 1 from the main stealer 🧐🧐🧐

The customer was called when they arrived and came to get them fitted.she was back on the road and able to use her boot the same day 😊

If your willing and able to wait a few days(sometimes longer) then we can usually source most expensive dealer only parts at a fraction of the cost 😉

Story time grab some popcorn its a long one 🙄

The gift that kept on giving its just a turbo 😂😂😂

Mk8 ford transit recovered from Dingwall for a good friend and customer.This van was coming down for a simple turbo replacement or so everyone thought 🤯🤯🤯

Customer bought this vehicle on the understanding it only needed a turbo replaced!.Great a simple quick enough job.Parts around the turbo had already been removed by the previous owner and placed in the vehicle saving us a little time.We inspected the turbo and right enough it was goosed so one was ordered online and we waited its arrival.Turbo finally arrived and we got to fitting it.All fitted with new gaskets,new engine oil and filter.battety had full charge let's start it.

Turned the key we got dash lights but no start then dash went dark.This happened every time we tried.Checked battery connections engine earth points even wiring looms and all checked out good.Diagnostics plugged in to find 72 codes stored in the ecu along with no communication with engine.We removed the vehicles ecu to find it had water ingress(literally poured out).Fantastic we ordered a secondhand ecu after consultingv the customer and luckily managed to clone it from the original.Fitted it back tried again and bosh started.Good all codes cleared and running silky smooth so a test drive was done 🤔

5 mins into test drive limp home mode was triggered so restricted power back to the workshop.vehicle was scanned and found that the dpf had an accumulated soot content of 78% this code wasn't present previously.This was also the main cause of turbo failure from the start.We removed and cleaned this part of the exhaust and applied a solution to the vehicle.

Vehicle is now running boosting and driving perfect no limp home mode no unwanted dash lights and no turbo faults in sight 🫡🫡🫡

Ml320 recovered from customers address in elgin with lack of power and limp home mode triggered.

Intake pipe and rubber seal severely damaged allowing foreign objects to be sucked into the turbo.Ultimately destroying the turbo.

Luckily we managed to save this one just in time before any further damaged was caused to the engine.

New turbo and gaskets fitted,all intake pipes cleaned out and new upgraded silicone adapter for the intake pipe.Engine oil and filter were replaced to eliminate any possible contaminents as should be done replacing any turbo failed or not.Quite a common issue on these vehicles.

Vehicle now back to full power and returned back to one happy customers address after extensive road testing.

Going the extra mile for our customers 7am start and a 3am finish.

Portsoy to Aberdeen with 2 transits and back to base.

Portsoy to Dingwall to collect a nissan nv200 van then onto kyle of lochalsh for a stranded Mercedes ML350 jeep.Returning back to base at 3am 🦾🦾🦾

Scenery would have been breathtaking if we could see any,unfortunately it was pitch black.However we did see the biggest stag I've ever seen in my life like something out of a movie 🤯.A truly stunning animal and a true testament to our beautiful Highlands of Scotland.
