Victorian mosaics done properly.
Full layout set out before a tile went down so the pattern runs clean through the space and the borders actually line up where they should.
Octagon centre, detailed border, all tied in around doorways, walls and awkward areas without it looking forced.
These aren’t tiles you can just “get down” if the prep or setting out is off, it shows straight away.
