WE ARE RECRUITING!

*** An exciting and rare opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic company with a focus on first class service delivery ***

Commercial (Heavy) Recovery Operative

Full time position
Hours: Mon – Fri 8am to 6pm; Alternate weekday nights and weekends ‘on-call’
Location: Banbury or Oxford
Minimum Requirement: C+E (Class 1) licence
Competitive hourly rate

We are seeking a reliable individual with a flexible approach to work and a passion for trucks to join our commercial recovery team. Duties include lifting and towing LGV’s, buses and coaches safely and efficiently following breakdown or accident to potentially any UK destination.

You’ll hold a HGV Class 1 licence and with an emphasis on “fix rather than recover” due to Customer demands, you’ll also have sound mechanical knowledge able to competently diagnose and repair, where feasible, faults at the roadside. We offer a 24/365 service and you will be required to work alternate weekday evenings and every other weekend on an ‘on-call’ basis. The work is varied and often challenging. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and well under pressure with a calm, methodical and safe approach.

Previous experience in vehicle recovery, whilst desirable, is not essential as full in-house training to IVR standards is provided.

To apply, or find out more, please give us a call on 01865 434343. Alternatively, feel free to send an email to [email protected]
