What a fantastic day at the Down Rally today!

5 cars started - 5 cars finished !! 🤩🤩

Excellent result for David Kane & Kevin Malone in the McKinstry Motorsport MK1 hire car finishing a super 21st overall, first time in an R5 too 🙈🙈..

Seamus Braniff & Paddy Heffernan had another solid result in the Braniff Construction machine.

Niall McKenna & Declan Campbell had a great run in the Rally 2 Hire car and by the looks of it were one of highest over that big jump 🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣 ( photo to follow 😬😬 )

Gary Lyons & Ashleigh Rea had a few wee moments today but got home with maybe a few less bits 🤣🤣

Mick Magee & John Magilton had a great finish
in the GPN Subaru!! 🥰🥰

Thanks to all the boys and girls in service today, great job done by all 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.

Well done to Rathfriland Motor Club, The Down Rally, marshals, time keepers and all the volunteer’s for making it a great event !!

What a busy week it has been for us all at the garage, the boys have done a great job getting the 5 cars ready for our local event The Down Rally which kicks off at 8.45am tomorrow morning 😬😬😬

So we have :

Seamus Braniff & Paddy Heffernan MK1 Fiesta

Gary Lyons & Ashleigh Rea Rally 2 Fiesta

David Kane & Kevin Malone MK1 Fiesta, David’s first rally in an R5 car !! 🤩

Niall McKenna & Declan Campbell Rally 2 Fiesta, this again will be Niall’s first time driving the Rally 2 car on the closed roads.. car looks fab in the TechPro colour scheme 😍😍

And last but not least we have Mick Magee and John Magilton in the scoobydoo 🚙🚙🚙

Good luck to everyone tomorrow for a safe and enjoyable days rallying 🙂
