RDTC Driving - Automatic

RDTC Driving - Automatic I am a cheerful, calm and patient person by nature, and I enjoy meeting new people and building relationships.

My name is Dicky, I am a DVSA Approved driving instructor(Car), who is highly motivated with over 30 years’ experience of driving, road safety, road transport, Occupational Road risk and training. I worked within the road transport industry doing European and UK LGV driving for over 25 years, transporting various cargo, before ending my driving career with major Fuel distribution companies. I feel

that I have excellent communication skills acquired through my experience as driver, trainer, Health, Safety and Occupational Road Risk Officer and have had some very positive feedback from colleagues and customers who I have assisted and coached previously. I strongly believe that my knowledge, skills and experience developed during my time as a Driver, Trainer and Health, Safety and Occupational Road Risk Officer within the road transport industry, together with my skill set and passion for learning and helping others would make me an ideal candidate to facilitate your learning or to assist you with your management of occupational road risk.

🍹 The "Morning After" Drink-Drive Hazard

Watching the 2:00 AM match? ⚽

*Alcohol takes time to leave your bodyβ€”sleeping doesn't speed it up. If you drink during a 2:00 AM match, you will likely still be over the legal limit at 8:00 AM for the school run or commute to work.
*Only time sobers you up. Coffee, showers, and breakfast do not lower your blood alcohol level.
*If in any doubt that you may still be over the drink-drive limit, click on the following link to calculate how long you will need to wait before getting behind the wheel again - https://morning-after.org.uk/drink-drive-calculator/

Drugs mess with your reaction time, focus and judgement – exactly what you need to drive safely. Even if you feel fine, your body and brain say otherwise: drugs can stay in your system for longer than you think, sometimes for days. When you let drugs drive, you lose control.

Every year in Britain, 4,740 people are killed or seriously injured in a crash involving a young driver aged 17–24. Evidence from other countries supports a stronger licensing system to help prevent these crashes and save lives. But what does stronger licensing mean? And is Britain ready for change?

In the spring we published our latest report exploring young driver safety and the licensing system in Britain. Our research revealed widespread public support for change. More than three-quarters (77%) of people support changes to the driver licensing system to reduce the numbers of people killed or seriously injured in crashes involving young drivers.
