A brilliant day out for all the family, with animals, local crafts, food stalls, displays, and that great countryside show atmosphere. If you’re staying with us, it’s the perfect excuse for a little adventure off-site before heading back to relax at the park.

We’ve had a little family of swift/swallow/house martins nesting right here at the campsite this season, and their chicks have now officially left the nest. It’s been such a lovely bit of nature to witness around the park.

(If any of our bird-loving followers can help us identify the species, we’d love to know!)

🚨Just a reminder that fire pit and coal BBQ ban remains in force across the park🚨
We appreciate your cooperation

🔥 Important Safety Update 🔥

Due to the ongoing weather conditions and our grass now turning into straw, we have made the decision to ban all fires and coal BBQ’s for the foreseeable future.

Only gas BBQ’s will be allowed, but they must be attended at all times and operated safely.

We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of our guests and our site will always come first.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

It’s an incredible sight, but please remember never look directly at the sun without proper eclipse glasses, as it can cause serious eye damage ☀️ 👓

If you’re saying with us this evening, find a safe viewing spot, pop on your eclipse glasses, and enjoy the show. Nature doesn’t treat us to something like this every day 🌒

The perfect excuse to sit back, enjoy the peace of the park, and get lost in a good story. Our transformed phone box library is stocked and ready for anyone who wants to unwind with a book 📕 borrow a book, swap a book, and enjoy a lazy afternoon in the tent or a cosy evening in the caravan.

Did you know we have four furry friends on-site waiting to welcome you as your arrive?
Our alpacas love wandering over to the gate to say hello - especially if they suspect you’ve brought snacks.

If you’d like to treat them, we sell alpaca food in our little on-site shop, so feel free to pop in and grab a bag during your stay.

And if you’ve stayed with us before, we’d love for you to share your favourite alpacas photos - it always makes our day seeing your snapshots of their cheeky personalities.
