At Antilag Performance, we've carved out a niche in Lamborghini Gallardo GFA module work, and we've built our own map pack to access fault codes.

Here's why it's needed: the Gallardo's V10 has two engine ECUs, and the GFA sits in the middle of it all. A generic reader won't always get you to the real fault codes, so a warning light can turn into a guessing game.

Then one social media post took it further than we ever expected. We now have customers in Virginia, USA 🇺🇸 and Lithuania 🇱🇹.

Another interesting case landed on our desk this week.

Andrius reached out about a Campi 02S GFA file that needed a checksum correction — turns out it had already been modified once in Poland before coming to us.

Our job: verify the checksum and make sure everything was clean and correct before it went back into this Gallardo.

It's always satisfying seeing how far these files travel — Lithuania to Poland and back — before landing in a car built to sound this good.

This AMG came in for a performance upgrade, and this one wasn’t an OBD job…

💻 ECU removed and programmed directly on the bench, giving us direct access to the ECU without needing to write through the vehicle’s diagnostic socket.

We backed up the original calibration, carried out the software modifications and then carefully verified the read/write before refitting everything.

🐴 HORSEBOX REMAPPING — More Miles Per Gallon!

Horseboxes spend a lot of time under load, so how the torque is delivered matters just as much as the peak figure.

Factory torque limiters can intervene part-way through the ECU's torque conversion strategy, cutting requested torque just when the engine needs it most.

A properly calibrated remap can optimise the torque model, driver demand and limiters, allowing smoother and more efficient torque delivery.

Remote tuning in Virginia USA

A friend from the US Coast Guard got in touch regarding his beautiful BMW M3. It had been running a MAF-less tune with an E46 M3 CSL Airbox which had been remotely tuned from Turkey.

We were sent the map file and there were clear errors with regards to ignition timing modifications, and the turbo boost pressure limiters were raised 500hpa above the request, basically no longer acting like a limiter 💥 .

We corrected the limiters to keep the vehicle safe, and also adjusted the file to give more power, without the risk of failure.
