Little Berries Baby & Toddler Group, Berryfields A friendly baby and toddler group run every Thursday from 9.30am to 11am during school term-times. CAN YOU HELP?

Whatever the weather, there is always a warm, friendly welcome awaiting parents/carers at 'Little Berries', the Berryfields Baby and Toddler Group. We meet every Thursday morning during term-time at the Roman Park Hall on Berryfields. Mums, Dads, Grandparents and childminders gather each week with bumps, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to play with a huge variety of toys. There is always a different activity to enjoy with your child, from Playdoh and sticking and gluing to colouring, or something more seasonal at certain times of the year. There’s books and puzzles, building bricks, dollies, prams, kitchen with play food, toy vehicles & garage, dressing-up clothes, and baby area with appropriate toys. After the children have played while the grown ups enjoy a chat and tea/coffee, the children can sit down to a healthy snack, and then join in with a sing-along at the end of each session (with actions, of course!)

We ask for £2.50 for the first child and £1 extra for each additional child per week to cover the cost of the healthy snacks, refreshments, hall hire and then any surplus is used to invest in new toys and equipment. The group is open to everyone, however there is a maximum number of children at each session, so is on a first come first served basis. Children remain the responsibility of the adult who brings them throughout the entire session. We are looking for enthusiastic and committed parents to join our committee and help with the running of this group. Please speak to us at the group or send an email if you'd like to know more.

Come along to Little Berries this Thursday!

9.30am - 11am at Roman Park Hall , there’s free parking either at the hall or in the station car park.

There will be toys, a craft and lots of fun things to do! Plus not forgetting tea, coffee and biscuits just for the adults!

We are also looking for new volunteers to join our team, if you come every week and would like to be part of keeping our group running please get in touch about joining our super friendly team!

Join us for our last session this term, we will have a craft and all our toys and usual things, but this week as it’s a party we ask if everyone would bring some yummy party food! Anything you like, crisps or biscuits or cakes, it’s the end of term so it’s allowed right?! 😋

This week some of our volunteers cannot make it this week leaving us short handed, if you are able to come a little early and help put some toys out we would be very grateful!
