Timber + Stitch Campervans

Up to this point, Timber + Stitch campervans have purely done bespoke builds. Each one quite different to the next. Albeit with hopefully a similar design language.

But this year id like to develop a build layout that is something of a signature layout for us. A generally fixed layout and design, so something that we can build and repeat a bit quicker essentially. Cutting the costs significantly. We won't stop doing fully bespoke builds, but we feel with growing cost pressures for everyone, it would be good to be able to produce a more cost effective model that may hopefully already suit a lot of people, without having to commission a fully bespoke model.

Im currently looking to develop this layout for this project. It will be a little more simplified than this build, and a slightly lower spec (although still high). And ill be aiming for a conversion cost of somewhere between £25k - £30k, not including the van. Customer provides that.

Looking to do it in a VW Crafter or maybe a sprinter.

So with that in mind....if you or someone you know is in the market for something like that, please get in touch.

With the first one being a bit of a prototype for future ones, its going to be a bit of a special price 🤣 for the initial customer.

And with a completion date by mid summer still time to get out and explore this season!

Wellllllllllll...its been a very long time coming. A build im super proud of and have been working on for a very long time. I am waiting on a few little parts to properly finish it. But here are a few sneaky pics.

The latest van to leave the workshop! 🙌 a little different, but a super cool van for a super good project. Not a campervan this, but a mobile consultation room for an amazing charity up here in the north of Scotland,

Do check them out, especially if you're in the north of Scotland.

So this van has lots of comfy seating. Lots of storage for taking various bits to events. Storage for a wheelchair ramp. A full off grid power system with battery to power everything as they will mostly be off grid.

Well...this post took a little longer to post that expected... I pretty much finished this van 6 weeks ago but due to a supplier issue. I could not get the electrical system operation. Took them 6 weeks to sort out! So won't be using them again...

But here it is at last. The owner will be getting the coffee machine fitted next week so I'll get some more pictures and hopefully a video walk-around to show more details once thats in.

It's a super cool project. I'm delighted to be a part of and can't wait to see this on the road and ordering a coffee!

The serving hatch is through the sliding door. With a removable serving bar. The huge 48V electrical system is capable of operating up to 8kw! Totally off grid. 400W solar. And a hot water supply too with a shower on the back doors.
