Race Chassis & Classic Car Restoration. Race chassis & Classic car restoration is a family run business, started by an ex Formula Ford chassis builder. Repair sections also fabricated.

Full or partial repairs, we offer restoration on all makes and models of classic vehicle. Bodywork- removal and replacement or preparation and full repair to the highest standard and respraying. Chassis and suspension repairs- leaf springs, coil springs, bulkhead welding etc all fabricated to the highest possible standard by our former Van Diemen chassis builder. Other jobs undertaken include-
Full vehicle valet using professional high grade polishes etc. Interior removal, replacement and refitting to original standard or customers own specification.

-The rear door, repaired and black Hammered Hammerite rolled.
-New fuel tankā€¦ the old one had a slight leak, donā€™t want that with the price of diesel!
-New chunkier tyres all round šŸ˜ƒ gonna look a beast!
-The annual chassis weldingā€¦ šŸ™ˆ weā€™ll get round to a new one someday!
-Quick glimpse of the slightly tidier paintwork, not perfect but itā€™s all one colour at least!
-Front brakes, front prop, new mud flap, steering joints and damper bushes and full service to go!
-Bonnet gloss black ā€œDefenderā€ badge on its wayā€¦
-Also as we didnā€™t anticipate the rear floor needed removal, the back carpets have been ripped out and chucked in the washing machine ready to be re-glued- not many vehicles can do that! šŸ‘Œ

Anyone that knows our landy, knows the paintwork was all blistered, amazing how a tin of black Hammerite and a roller can be used to drastically improve the appearance! And a week of rubbing down the old paint of course! šŸ˜…
Itā€™s still far from perfect but greatly improved and as itā€™s still classed as the worker of our fleet, Iā€™m not being particularly fussy!

-The brand spanking new Jaguar electric front seats shown in the photos fitted. šŸ‘Œ
-New rear axle and diff, upgraded brakes from drum to disc plus all other parts required.
-New power steering pump.
-Service and MOT as standard.
-MOST IMPORTANTLYā€¦ the paint work is getting tidied up! šŸ„³
