Last week in Malta!

The week began in Valletta with meetings alongside local contacts and valuable visits to several shipyards, providing great insight into ongoing developments across the region.

We then moved across the island for the MTB Events - where we spent 3 days meeting with suppliers and attending networking events. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with existing partners, meet new suppliers, and explore the latest innovations within the industry.

When working on complex newbuild and refit projects, staying up to date with emerging technologies, products, and capabilities is very important. Events like these are invaluable for strengthening relationships, expanding our network, and identifying opportunities for future projects.

It was a pleasure meeting so many industry professionals throughout the week, and I look forward to developing new partnerships and collaborations in the future.

A fantastic few days in Barcelona at the 🚀 It’s clear there’s an increasing need for this technology-focused event. With our involvement in New Build and Refit projects, staying ahead of what’s coming next is essential.

One of the key takeaways from any show is discovering at least a couple of new and interesting pieces of software or equipment, and this year’s tech show certainly delivered on that front. It was also great to reconnect with suppliers, expand our network, and meet new contacts in a special setting like Barcelona.

We hope everyone who attended enjoyed the show as much as we did.

What’s been happening behind the scenes?

It’s been an exciting and productive few months. As we look ahead to further growth and development in 2026, we’re pleased to share a snapshot of what our team has been working on.

🔹 Crew Employment Services: We’ve officially launched our own in-house service to manage the administrative, legal, and logistical responsibilities involved in employing yacht crew, streamlining processes and reducing the burden on owners and captains.

🔹 Refit Planning: With several vessels in our management fleet preparing for upcoming refits, our Technical team has been hard at work developing detailed plans to ensure smooth and efficient project ex*****on.
Plus assisting private vessels (80m – 100m) not under our management, with their refit plans and technical upgrades.

🔹 Audits: Our HQ successfully completed annual Flag State DOC audits. As part of this process we also completed several onboard audits (ISM/MLC/ISPS/Technical) across vessels within our management fleet.

🔹 SMS Development: Our bespoke Safety Management System is carefully tailored to each vessel. We take the time to ensure it remains practical, efficient, and genuinely supportive for Captains and Heads of Department who rely on it every day.

We’re proud of the progress made and excited about what’s ahead as we continue to strengthen our services and support our clients and crew.

Another memorable week at the 🇦🇬 Great to spend some time onboard meeting the Captains and crew on an impressive list of award winning charter boats. The week’s agenda was packed with events throughout each day - and it was the perfect way to wrap up another series of boat shows....along with a special visit from 👀 It’s been a great year for our Yacht Management team at Yachting with lots to look forward to in 2026.

Another huge effort and a whole lot of fun 🏌‍♀️ ⛳
As always the team were out in full force on the course last week - had another record breaking event, with the golf day raising over ÂŁ64,000 for local charities.
