First job was an interesting one!
To the untrained eye would have been a challenge but having seen this many times before we knew what was needed.
Permanently stored P0000 code, with flashing engine management light.
Code held in EOBD, but not when viewing as a Sprinter.
History was a mystery to the owner.
Viewed the data using Jaltest and could see huge DPF differential pressure but no codes.
Eureka... it had been mapped out previously and DPF left in!
No ability to regenerate, no warnings via fault codes, this meant a hugely overloaded DPF!
DPF was removed and cleaned and original file sourced, applied, and logged to check for full reactivation of DPF system!
DPF RESET and Bobs your Uncle and Fanny's your Aunt.
Light out. Ready for test then return to road!
Next Up was a Ford Kuga with a DPF solution for a trade customer!
Then off to tackle another Sprinter with a bucket load of faults.
During health cueck we identified a failure of the intake port valve and an air leak verified with a smoke test which is 10 a Penny for these Sprinters.
Solutions applied and lights out, warnings gone, power restored and countdown to No Start gone!
