We’re recruiting!!! If you’re interested in working in a busy workshop. Working on all makes and models. We carry out jobs such as engines, clutches. Transmission flushes. Welding, Diagnostic’s with up to date dealer level diagnostic equipment, class 4 mots, classic cars. Ev’s and hybrids. Not much we don’t do! Then drop us a email with your cv!

Maintanence is key and as you can see these discs have seen better days.
Poor brake maintenance caused the pads to seize in the carriers and as you can see they haven’t been doing much!!

This is the first time I’ve seen this happen in real life and not just on facebook etc.
customer had attempted to do his own brakes to get car though mot, Clearly it’s failed and made a hell of a grinding noise.

We now have a level 4 trainned technician in Ev and hybrid.

We’re still currently looking for a new mechanic to join our team.
Must have full driving license.
Work experience in a garage and qualifications.
Good customer service and attention to detail.
Able to carry out tasks to high standards and unsupervised.
Must have there own tools for carrying out jobs.
Garage has a large range of equipment, including Air conditioning, Gearbox flushing equipment, welding, 4 wheel alignment, class 4 mot bay, a range of diagnostic equipment. Not much we can’t do in house.
Ideally looking for someone with an MOT license but not essential, long as you have 4 years experience then we can get help you get this qualification.
Further training with Bosch is available if you’re looking to gain extra skills within the motor trade.
Wages are based on experience and up to 40k for the right applicant.

7 speed Vag DSG clutch pack changes done in house!

Recovered this classic rare convertible mini in for some TLC. Been sat in a garage for some years until the owner decided he wanted to get it back on the road.
So new clutch and hydraulics fitted, brake overall and full service before doing the mot.
Quick clean inside and out to get rid of the years of dirt and delivered back to his door.
One happy customer to have this old girl road worthy again for mini adventures!

Audi A5 2.0 petrol came in for engine management light. Fault shows timing out. On stripping out and checking the timing chain. Found the inlet gear to be 2 teeth out and the chain out full adjustment.
Timed up using the correct timing kit and renewed all the timing chain kit. Ready for finishing tomorrow.
This is the second one of these we’ve had though the door with this issue in the last month.

Porsche hybrid came in for a charging fault. Customer complaint is when plugging the charger cable in wouldn’t lock to charge.
Diagnostic showed a fault with the plug.
After isolating the high voltage battery and checking was safe to work on. We stripped out the internal panels to renew the charge socket. Refit and reconnect high voltage battery circuit. Check and clear fault codes. We then tested to see if the system would now charge up though the new socket. All good!! Happy days.

So after long wait this project build for a customer finally left before our Christmas break.
This project tested us to the limits with multiple issues to over come. Swapping from a 1.3 carburettor engine to a complete mk3 2.9 VR6 running gear including brakes, suspension the lot
Engine had a complete rebuild with all new internals. But after hours and hours of work we made his dream come true and we’re hoping his happy with the outcome.
Still couple little tweaks to do in the new year but we aimed to give him the best Christmas gift he’d been waiting for
