Not quite the weekend we planned… but that’s drag racing. 💔🏁
First run of Ultimate Street Car… 💥 Head gasket gone.
Spent Friday getting it back together, made it out on Saturday, only for the flywheel bolts to snap on the second run.
Another 4 hours in the pits later (a massive shout out to Dean Dewhurst for all your help), we finally discovered the trigger wheel had snapped off too… and that was game over for our weekend.
Sometimes racing is about the late nights, the problem-solving, the team around you, and the people you meet along the way.
The golf may have beaten us this weekend, but we still had an incredible time catching up with racers, watching some racing, and remembering why we love this sport. Well done to all those with new PB’s - smashed it!!
We’ll be back. Bigger, stronger, and ready for the next one!
