2 day turn around on this beautiful scania v8, with the paintwork being nearly 20 years old, single stage paint & nearly 1.2million clicks on the clock, it had definitely seen better days!

Very heavy oxidation all over with it being red, stained & scratched paint. multiple passes with the polishers, reading the paint depth gauge & processing accordingly.

Unfortunately some areas were a lot worse than others, it comes to a point where you have to stop before you do potential damage. Customer notified of this and was still over the moon with the results none the less 😎

whole lorry cab has now been waxed to try and prevent the fading happening again!

Day 2/3 completed on this lovely scania v8 lorry for a good friend of mine.

as you can see from the before pictures, the red paintwork was badly stained & faded from the sun.

A few areas masked off for testing what products & pads worked best and then the whole lorry got a going over! Reading the paint levels is vital in this situation as it’s a nearly 20 year old vehicle, that’s been resprayed before.

The roof area left to finish off tomorrow, a good wash, dress the tyres & it’ll be ready for its first show for the new owner on saturday 😁

unfortunately the silver one had seen better days and was drinking a lot of oil & a creamy head gasket! managed to find this mint white caddy just 5 mins from my house! spoilt for choice with electric windows & mirrors 😅

Plates to transfer over & it will be getting sign written in the future but for now just gunna roll the white 😎

massive thanks to AZ Autos as always for swapping all my parts over from the silver to the white, in 4 hours! any mechanical work he is your man 👊🏼
