Hello again folks been very busy the past few weeks so haven’t got the time to post much up on the page
✅ However winter is closing in thick and fast so at quinn auto solutions we want to ensure your vehicle is safe for the road
✅ therefore we are now offering a free safety check for all vehicles booked in to ensure your vehicle is safe and reliable for the incoming cold dark days the safety check will include…
✅ an in depth check of all tyres to ensure adequate tread depth and to also ensure no damage to the tyres such as bulges to the sidewalls
✅ check engine oil for correct level and viscosity due to the temperatures dropping this can cause oil to become thicker and not travel adequately around the engine
✅ coolant level and type. It’s surprising the amount of cars that have straight water in them with no form of antifreeze or coolant and whilst your vehicle will perform completely normal in these circumstances in the warmer months it’s better to be safe that sorry in the cold as water freezes it expands which can cause serious damage to your vehicles engine
✅ spare wheel and or puncture repair kit this is to ensure if your vehicle is equipped with a spare wheel we will make sure it has the correct specified pressure so if you are unfortunate enough to get a flat you will be able to install your spare and carry on your journey. However if your vehicle is equipped with a bottle of tyre seal we will ensure it hasn’t already been used and if so well will replace it free of charge
✅ wiper blades will also receive a thorough check to ensure they are in good condition and do not leave streaks or marks to make sure good vision is always provided
✅ windscreen will receive an extensive inspection to also ensure there and no cracks or stone chips which could spread due to the cold weather and make seeing through the windscreen difficult in sleet, snow, heavy rain or fog
✅ lights and bulbs all your vehicles lights including main and dipped beam rite down to the rear number plate lights will be checked to ensure you can always be seen in adverse weather and dark conditions we will also check your vehicles headlight alignment to provide maximum vision at all times
✅ battery: we will do a heath check on your vehicles battery to ensure it is in adequate condition and always provides the correct voltage making sure your vehicle will start reliably throughout the winter months
✅ brakes: your vehicles brakes will undergo a thorough inspection also. checking the discs and pads and hand break mechanisms are in an adequate and safe condition
