Now does this car really need an introduction look at how beautiful this car is, Alfa Romeo 105 GTAM Evocation Wide Body. This car has just had a photo shoot for its feature in Auto Italia magazine and will feature in the next few months. This South African import was bought in by us. This car has had a competition life but then fully restored into this fast road set up we see today. We literally know this car inside and out with an eye watering amount of money spent at Classic Alfa with Invoices to show for so many new parts it’s unbelievable. The parts list even goes as far as a New Wiring Loom, New Servo, New Fuel Tank, Fuel Hoses, Brake hoses, New Pads, Carb Rebuild, New Wheels and Tyres, New Bucket Seats the list goes on. Power now comes from a 2.0L Twincam Nord Engine with twin 45 Weber Carbs making the most amazing noises coupled with the non silenced GTA exhaust system this car will give you shivers just from starting the engine. 15x8 JBW Minilite wheels look incredible with the GTAM wide body. Glass front and rear screens with Perspex side windows. Everything about this car is lightweight from the windows to the arches, doors and boot lid. The key to its success is power to weight. We know a thing or too when it comes to this even though we are currently building another 105 Alfa to race with the shop we also race a Volvo 850 Estate. Engine spec as far as we have been told it was built in SA by Eddie Visser which is a father and son team well known in SA. New bearings, New High Comp Pistons with Race Cams by Vander linde, Gas Flowed Head with New Valves and Springs also done by Eddie Visser and suited to the upgraded Weber 45 Carbs. We have not yet had this car on the dyno but we do intend to get this done. Carbs will be reset for our UK Fuel/Air mix the off to the Dyno. Limited Slip Diff takes care of putting power down to the rear wheels. The Cobra CS Bucket Seats have a custom ordered Yellow Tartan centre are on custom mounts with Cobra Sliding Runners both sides. This car with its racing heritage and incredible racing looks will be a perfect addition to anyone’s car collection. This car can hold its own against the greatest of Heavyweight Car brands.
