LPG Autogas is now available in Arbroath! After several years of declining LPG availability, we have installed our own LPG retail tank, so if you need to fill up in the Arbroath area, we look forward to seeing you soon.

We are normally open for gas sales 8.30 to 17.30, Monday to Friday, and also most Saturday mornings. We can't be here all the time, so best to contact us first. Call or text Simon on 07986 182106.

Many newer petrol engine cars have a Direct Injection (DI) fuel system - some are easy to spot where the model name includes anything like FSI, TFSI, GDI or EcoBoost. At last we have a Prins system to convert the 5 litre Supercharged Range Rovers! Here's our latest conversion - it's the first to be converted in Scotland, and only the second in the world......

Performance is TRULY OUTSTANDING on both petrol and LPG with the amazing 503bhp Supercharged engine.

Fuel consumption tests today gave an average of 15.6 MPG over a 106 mile round trip consisting of 10% urban and 90% motorway driving. At todays fuel prices, (49.9p per litre of LPG and 109.9p per litre for petrol) that's an equivalent of approximately 34.4 MPG.

Did you know..........we can also repair Range Rover and BMW V8 engines. The 4.4 litre V8 engines used in Range Rovers and BMWs 5-series, 7-series and X5s are a masterpiece of engineering giving many years of reliable service. However, the engines are now beginning to show their age, with noisy VANOS units, leaky PCV systems and seriously worn timing chains, tensioners and chain guides. All is not lost though as we have invested in all of the special tools required to repair these faults and restore the engines to perfect working order.

The engine in these pictures had been given a diagnosis of terminal engine failure, effectively writing the car off due to the cost of a replacement. The main problem was failure of the primary timing chain tensioner - these faults are not terminal, they can be fixed! Check it out, http://www.angusautogas.co.uk/?page_id=62

This is our latest conversion - we are now approved as the only Prins Direct Liquimax LPG system installer in Scotland. The Prins Direct Liquimax system, or DLM for short, is a revolution in LPG conversion technology. It is designed specifically for the latest generation of Direct Injection petrol-engined cars and vans. It can run on 100% LPG, 100% of the time - you need never run on petrol again.

With LPG now available below 50p per litre, and much less for fleet operators with their own supply, it's well worth looking at LPG for your next vehicle, especially as environmental pressure to move away from diesel fuel continues to grow. This 1.4 litre Skoda Octavia costs just £30 per year to tax, and is capable of doing the cost-equivalent of 100 mpg.
