Hey all, after nearly 9 years instructing I have decided that after my current diary of pupils I will be moving to part time. ( About 10hrs per week) Automatic only. As I am going back into paid employment in a career path I am really passionate about. It's been a great 9years with some downs but mostly happy memories and I appreciate every single one of my previous and current pupils who have trusted me to help them become safe drivers for life. I have decided to do this for 2 reasons, firstly my new career helping kids who have had hard start to life and hopefully help them going forward is something I'm really looking forward to, secondly, the state of driving tests and the hold up has made this job so stressful its hard to keep going. Will keep the page running as like I say I'm still going to be teaching but on a far reduced diary. I have renewed my badge for next 4 years so who knows maybe one day come back full time. Like I said current pupils won't be passed on to anyone else as I will hopefully see them to the end of there learning journey.
