Mechanic – Full Time
PSK Auto Repairs is a family-run business and as we continue to grow, we are looking to add another skilled and reliable Mechanic to our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and has a passion for maintaining and repairing vehicles to a high standard.
The Role:
• Full-time position
• Garage-based role
• Employed or self-employed basis considered
• Competitive rate of pay, dependent on experience and skill level
• Overtime opportunities available
• Immediate start available for the right candidate
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
• Replace components including clutches, timing belts, water pumps and other essential vehicle parts
• Perform vehicle inspections and MOT preparation work
• Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools safely and effectively
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a mechanic essential
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic
