Today at Pitstop Garage we are celebrating a milestone. 50 years of Pitstop Garage at this current location. We are very proud to have stood the test of time and become one of the leading garages in the area providing a service and helping keep the people of Cwmamman and surrounding areas on the road.we have met many many people over the years many become friends and long time customers others we see occasionally but everyone is always welcomed with a smile and given the best service we can.
Pitstop Garage was founded on this day in 1976 by Danny Lewis, affectionately known as "Danny Pitstop " a very popular pillar of the community who was well liked by everyone who met him.his wealth of knowledge and ability with any car was second to none. He was the go to man for anything car related. Sadly due to illness he passed away in 1995 leaving a massive void to all who knew him.His son Steve who is also affectionately known locally as "Steve Pitstop " took the Raines and became the one in charge to this day.we have seen many changes during this time in the motor trade and many people come and go.its not always been easy it has offered many challenges but we come out the other side successfully. We would like to thank the many many friends and customers who have supported us over the years and be a part of the Pitstop Team. On behalf of the late Danny, Steve and all the family we thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts.
