Changes to driving test booking happening today. ⚠️

From today (9 June), if you move your driving test, you can only move it to one of the 3 nearest test centres to where it's currently booked.

This is the remaining change we committed to make by the end of Spring 2026:

📅 31 March — test changes limited to 2 per booking

🔒 12 May — only learners can book, change or cancel their own test

📍 9 June — test moves limited to 3 nearest centres

Since 12 May, we've suspended 3605 accounts for breaking the rules and reported apps to app stores for removal. We're not stopping there.

Massive congratulations to Shannon who passed her driving test in Inverness last week - and with only 1 driving fault! 🎉🎈💪

Shannon decided to use her own car and go up north with a family member when a test came available last minute.

It has been so fun teaching you Shannon. You're always positive and with a smile on your face. You took to driving easily and you have become a very competent driver, I am so proud of you! No more walking up insanely steep hills to and from the bus 😁

Thank you for choosing me to be your driving instructor! I will miss our lessons. I wish you all the best for the future and hope you have a great time at uni.

Huge congratulations to Niall for passing his driving test in Callander today - first attempt and with only 4 driving faults 🎉💪🚗

Niall is not a fan of being photographed so my roof box will have to do!

It has been an absolute pleasure teaching you Niall and I have been looking forward to our lessons each week. Whether it was to discuss music, the differences between the UK and Sweden, or you venting about work, it has always been fun!

I know having a driving licence will help you immensely and I am glad to have been a part in you achieving the freedom this will give you.

Thanks for choosing me to be your driving instructor! I wish you all the best and hope to catch up with you again at the Stephen Wilson Jr concert in October!

What a fantastic way to end the week!

Massive congratulations to Esme for passing her driving test in Stirling today on her first attempt! 🎉💪

We have been waiting for this day since October and what a day it has been. The sun was shining, the flowers were blooming and Esme got her driver's license!

It has been so fun to teach you Esme! You've got an incredible positive energy about you and I've laughed a lot during our lessons! You took to driving easily and became a very confident driver in a short amount of time - the only thing holding you back was the frustratingly long test waiting time.

It was great to hear you speak so lovingly about your siblings and you gave me hope that maybe my kids will be more willing to pick up an instrument when they're a bit older.

Thank you for choosing me to be your driving instructor and I wish you all the best for the future. I hope you enjoy Australia when the time comes!

What a fantastic way to start the new year!

Huge congratulations to both Martin and Cameron on passing your driving tests in Stirling today - and on the first attempt for both of you! 🥳

🚗 Martin, you passed with only 4 driving faults this morning, well done! 💪

We were up early for a test start at 8:00. My alarm was set to 5:40 so to say I'm flagging as I'm writing this is an understatement! What bad luck we had before Christmas when your test was cancelled due to fog but maybe it was meant to be considering today's result.

You are a very considerate and mature young man and you have shown fantastic dedication and attentiveness on our lessons. It's been a lot of fun teaching you how to drive and you showed great aptitude towards it from day one!

Good luck with your new job and the basketball and make sure to take it easy in your new car!

🚗 Cameron, you passed with 6 driving faults but I think it was mostly nerves that caused you to stall a couple of times! You did great today and you seemed really at ease as you chatted away with the examiner - I even had to ask if you two already knew each other😅

It has been an absolute delight to teach you and and I have really enjoyed our lessons! We have struggled with bad weather, pitch black afternoons and pesky reverse manoeuvres but despite this you smashed it today 💪

I hope your flat hunting goes well and that you manage to convince your parents that you can keep the Mazda now when they have done the sensible thing and got a Kia😄

Huge congratulations to my neighbour Kaitlin for passing her driving test in Stirling earlier this week - first attempt and with only 2 driving faults! 💪🚗🤩

And those faults were truly minor - a wee stall when moving off at a hill (nerves! I can't remember the last time you stalled) and pulling up on the left. You had an entire road to park along, just stop the car already 😂 The examiner even said at the end that "you dealt with all the difficult stuff easily" and was joking at the silliness of the faults.

Kaitlin, you're a great driver and took to it so quickly. It feels like we only just got started and here you stand with a driver's license in hand! It's been an absolute pleasure to teach you and I'll be in touch when I need a lift back to Alva 😁

What a fantastic end of the week before the holidays!

Huge congratulations to Dylan for passing his driving test in Stirling yesterday morning - first attempt and with only 1 driving fault! And that fault was for an incorrect answer on a Tell Me question, so the actual drive was flawless! 💪🎉

Dylan, it has been an absolute pleasure teaching you, a dream pupil! I know it's been tricky finding time for lessons since you started your new job but you've become a very competent driver despite setbacks. I'm very proud of you and I will miss our lessons!

Massive congratulations to Alistair who passed his driving test in Stirling on his first attempt yesterday morning! 💪🎉🚗

It's been a pleasure teaching you Ali and I don't know if I'll miss hearing about your escapades and night's out or not. I definitely feel my age sometimes hearing about them 😂 Just try to avoid more broken hands, pulled hamstrings and whatnot from here on, ok? You need them to drive!

With that said, I'll see you again next week for a lesson on motorways so you still have time to make me feel old 😉

Massive congratulations to Emmanuel on passing his Driving Test in Stirling today! 💪🚗🎉

Emmanuel already held an international driving license and contacted me for help getting his UK licence. It was not as much about learning how to drive as building good habits and a better understanding on the how's and why's when driving.

We all show happiness in different ways, but Emmanuel's outburst of joy when the examiner said he had been successful is definitely one of the best I've seen 🎉🥳😁

Thanks for choosing me to be your instructor and I wish you all the best! I'll be on the look out for you in that new BMW you said you're getting!
