It’s all in the details. With hundreds of incredible vehicles filling the streets of Alton, it would have been very easy to spend the day looking at the bigger picture.
But some of our favourite finds came when we got a little closer. The details of a classic often tell you just as much as the car itself. They show its age, its condition, how it’s been used and, perhaps most importantly, something about the person who owns it.
That was one of the things we loved about walking around the Classic Car Show. Those little personal touches that you only notice when you stop and take a proper look is what's most fulfilling.
A huge amount of care goes into keeping cars like these on the road, and the standard of vehicles brought to Alton was incredible.
To every owner who brought along their pride and joy, we loved every detail and look forward to next year.
