This Mercedes came into us with the engine management light on, after diagnostics we found the inlet manifold runner flaps had completely seized due to excessive carbon build-up.

As you can see from the photos, the amount of carbon inside the old manifold was insane!

The runner flaps were no longer able to move so we supplied and fitted a genuine Mercedes inlet manifold letting the customer continue with no EML and way better performance.

This customer came in with poor performing air conditioning and it didn’t take long to find the culprit😢🪶

The condenser had definitely seen better days. The condenser sits right at the front of your car so usually takes a big hit and when it’s damaged it will affect your air conditioning.

In this case, the only solution was to replace the condenser but in some cases your air con might just need a re-gas.

PSA… SERVICE YOUR CAR‼️

This vehicle came in after having done 36000 miles since the previous service.

The oil filter is completely clogged up with oil & sludge causing lots of stress on the engine.

After flushing the engine twice, replacing the filters and some fresh oil they are good to go again for another 8-15k miles (hopefully not 36k!)

Servicing your car regularly is the cheapest way to extend your engines life.

Another Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost in for a wet belt replacement.

As you can see, the oil pickup gauze was getting seriously blocked from the old wet belt. This meant the oil struggled to flow and would have caused severe engine damage or even engine failure if the customer had delayed it further.

Catching this in time has saved the customer a lot of money. If you need advice on when your wet belt may be due a replacement, feel free to pop us a message. Maintenance is always cheaper than a new engine!

We had a car recovered into us by the AA due to a breakdown during the customers not so happy holidays around Northumberland.

The car had a coolant leak so they were experiencing engine overheating issues and the coolant leaking out from under the car.

Driving with low coolant can cause serious engine damage so leaving it could cost you more in the long run.

We carried out a coolant pressure test, located the leak and replaced the coolant pipe so the customer could finally enjoy their holidays🌞🚗
