Time to get back to work after the heartbreaking loss of a very good friend, and what better way to return than with something truly exceptional. 👌

This 2014 BMW 3 Series GT originally came to us for a straightforward ambient lighting upgrade, but as you can see, things escalated from there!

The calipers and front cross braces were colour coded, the original badges were replaced, and then we completely modernised the interior.

Out with the old and in with the new, with:

Sorry to post this but this has rocked me!

A personal message from me.

A few days ago, I lost a friend to su***de.

I am still trying to process what has happened, and it has affected me more than I can put into words. I would like to apologise to any clients whose vehicles have been delayed or whose messages I have been slower to answer. I hope you can understand that I have needed a little time to deal with everything.

I also want to use this post to say something that may help someone else.

No matter how dark life feels, or how alone you believe you are, you are never truly alone. There are people who care about you, people who will listen and organisations specifically there to help.

Please talk to somebody. A friend, a family member, a colleague or even a complete stranger. You do not have to explain everything perfectly. Just telling someone that you are struggling can be the first step.

I am not a trained professional, but if you are feeling low and simply need somebody to listen, you can call the SVS work number on 07403 527 949. I would much rather take time out of my day to speak to a stranger than hear that another person felt they had nowhere to turn.

Samaritans are available free, day or night, on 116 123.

For urgent mental health support, call NHS 111 and select the mental health option.

If you or somebody else is in immediate danger, call 999 or go straight to A&E.

Please look out for the people around you. Ask twice if they are okay. Listen properly to the answer.

And if you are the person struggling right now, please hold on and make that call. However bad today feels, you do not have to face it on your own.

What a difference a year makes! 🙌

This time last year, I had just opened the studio and was praying for two or three cars a day to wash. That would bring in enough to cover the bills, but there certainly wasn’t any spare spending money.

Fast forward one year and this was the view outside the studio this morning.

A Ford in for water leak detection and repair.

A black Audi RS6 freshly finished after a two stage paint correction and SONAX ceramic coating.

A white BMW GT transformed with a digital cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, reversing camera, painted calipers and plenty of other upgrades.

And finally, the blue Audi RS6 undergoing a complete Alcantara headliner and pillar retrim with a custom starlight installation.

I still haven’t got any spare spending money 😂 but the clientele, the work coming through the doors and the direction the business is heading have completely changed.

What started as Sadler’s Valeting Services has grown into SVS Custom Detailing. From washing and valeting cars to detailing, ceramic coatings, ambient lighting, infotainment upgrades, interior retrimming and bespoke vehicle enhancements.

I’m still my own worst critic and I’ll always be looking at what I can improve next, but every now and then it’s important to stop, look around and appreciate how far things have come.

A massive thank you to every customer who has trusted me with their vehicle, recommended the business or supported the journey over the past year.

This is only the beginning 💪
