We took a day off from the workshop and hit the drift track, and completely paid for it. Dudley and one of the Wraptor team, Tomek, took out the Wraptor Drift-Type and a Mazda MX5, for what was supposed to be a fun day out. What followed was broken cars, countless tyres destroyed, and a steering column that snapped clean off mid-drift. Here's everything that went wrong, and why we'd absolutely do it again.

After the massive success of Wraptor Races in 2025 and 2026, we are already gearing up for 2027.

Wraptor Races 2027 is coming, and this time we are heading to the legendary Santa Pod strip.

A proper performance car day out built around Jaguars, big power, community vibes and unlimited run-what-ya-brung strip runs.

No boring stand in a field. No lifeless car park meet.

This is Wraptor Races.

Expect a laid-back static meet, incredible cars, proper noise, head-to-head strip action and the doing what we do best.

Every Jaguar is welcome, from daily drivers and diesels to XFRs, XKs, F-Types, SVRs and full-send supercharged builds. Land Rover, Range Rover and selected sports, prestige and performance cars are also welcome.

Dates are still to be confirmed, but Early Bird Driver Tickets are available now.

Early Bird Driver Ticket: £100 until 31 December 2026
From 1 January 2027: £120

Driver tickets will be limited, so if you want your place on the strip, this is the time to lock it in.
