Hello everyone ,

As we are on December 31st I thought I'd share a post about my 12 dips in December for cancer research.

These pictures are from yesterday's dip in my own cold dip pod, 12 mins at 1°c

The month has been a mix of cold showers, dipping in the Black Loch at Limerigg and the highlight was 2 dips on Christmas day and boxing day in the tidal pool at Pittenweem, these were the warmest 2 at 6.7°c!

And with that, the last Tow-Trust Towbars Ltd fitting of 2025 is done and collected by the customer.

It's been a busy year and 2026 is off to a flyer already.

A lovely JoaCamp motorhome in this week for Tow-Trust Towbars Ltd chassis extensions, brackets, crossbar and towbar along with Conwys dedicated full function 13 pin electric kit.
Any thanks to the customer who drove all the way from Aberdeen to Airdrie for us to supply and fit.

So a caravan main dealer serviced this caravan and failed to point out the worn breakaway cable but blamed the reverse lights being on full time as a towbar issue, we fitted the bar in May and no fault on the towbar.

We offered to inspect the caravan elecs and found a corroded 13 pin with the reverse with broken due to corrosion and touching the live wire next to it.
New plug fitted and lights all tested and working as they should be.

Going back this afternoon to swap the breakaway cable as this is not acceptable as an emergency brake cable.
