If you have one of our MV wall planners, or simply have excellent taste and memory, you’ll already know that today we’re tipping our hats to Motörhead, a band that never bent, never softened, and never pretended to be anything other than what it was. At the centre stood Lemmy Kilmister: a true stalwart of rock and roll, fiercely down to earth, straight-talking to the core, and a genuine legend earned the hard way.
Motörhead weren’t about myth-making or excess for the sake of it. Lemmy’s appeal was precisely that he felt real, no nonsense, no ego, just conviction, volume, and integrity. He lived the life, told it exactly as he saw it, and never asked for permission. That honesty is why his legacy still carries weight far beyond metal.
For this tribute, our visual inspiration comes from Inferno and Sacrifice, two albums that represent Motörhead at their most unforgiving. Dark, aggressive, and relentless, both records doubled down on the band’s ethos: heavier, louder, and more uncompromising with every passing year.
