This is the company car at the minute with my full time job, new Sept 2014 VW Golf GTD 185ps 3dr in Carbon Grey. I asked for this to be delivered un-washed and still with the stickers on it so i could work on it myself. Work carried out - Tar Cleansed, Iron Cleansed, Zymol HD Cleanser/Polish, a light DA correction in places, sealed by Zymol Carbon Wax and Orchard Autocare Speed Seal. The results speak for themselves!

So my bro's car was parked at our house last weekend, decided to get stuck into it.....it's quite a state and hasn't been washed in a very long time. Keep checking back here for after photos to see how it turned out!!

Before

Its always nice to get customers coming back to me, especially when they tell you they now have an Aston Martin they want the full treatment carried out on! This car was already very very clean but the customer wanted it given the Bramley Hill full valet treatment along with a few additional items as well - the wheel hubs painted. I think i went a bit overboard on the photos but it was just such a beautiful car and such a joy to work on (not to mention listen to!!).

I got this car as a trade in against the E46 M3 LSB I had last year in November and have been working on it since then. Never thought about owning one of these cars but so glad i did, what a car! Its a 1991 BMW E34 M5 3.6 in Brilliant Red. 114k when i got it, now 115k, and full history.

It was in very good condition already for being over 20yrs old but after being barn stored for 4 years prior to June 2013 the paintwork had got worn and very pink. Mechanically it was very good but the following work was carried out in Nov 2013:

Fuel and Brake Lines replaced
Rear Axle Bushes replaced
Propshaft joint replaced
Engine oil, gearbox Oil and L*D Oil replaced

This transformed the handling of the car as before it had a tendency to squirm when overtaking! Shortly after this, I had the car at East Cast Customs Rolling Road day where it ran a very impressive 311.2bhp....just 3.8bhp down on what it would have been new back in 1991 so the engine proved to be in great shape.

March 2014 saw it getting the paint corrected to see what we could rescue of it, this was beyond my capabilities as the paint was too far gone so Peter Kealey helped with the paint correcting and what a job! Proved difficult but the results were brilliant.

April 2014 - some of the paintwork couldn't be saved due to lacquer peel on the bonnet, paint reaction bubbles on the tops of the wings and from doors, rust on the sunroof and flaking paint on the front bumper and door mirrors. I wanted it right for my sisters wedding so decided to get Robert Hair & Co in Whiteabbey to do a full front respray. They did a very impressive job.

The car is now finished so I'm enjoying using it at the weekends but I will part with it for the right money so if interested let me know!!

Last year's project, just getting round to doing the write up for the page now. Bought this in December 2012, it was a clean enough example but needed that extra touch! 2002 BMW E46 M3 in lovely Laguna Seca Blue with 93000 miles on the clock and a very high spec including Xenons, Heated Electric Black Leather, Harmon Kardon Sound System, Sunroof, Rear Electric Blind.

Parts changed included - 19" Genuine CS Alloys fitted, Eibach Lowering Springs, Silvertec Bulbs, iPod Conversion.

Detailed in March 2013 by myself but needed the paint corrected by machine so I enlisted the help of a friend who I trust with a DA who did a magnificent job on the car.

August 2013 - To complete the car it needed the whole front end resprayed due to stone chips and colour fade beyond correction, I also had the rear bumper resprayed as well. Carried out by Agnew Repair Centre, very pleased with colour match. Once completed, it was detailed again.

Nov 2013 - sold
