We are looking for a new team member to join Turnpike garage engineering,
As a productive member of the team you will spend time in the Workshop maintaining vehicles to high standards, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs.

Day to day roles will include;

* Use of diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
* Testing of parts and systems to ensure correct working· Following checklists to ensure all critical parts of vehicles are examined
* Carrying out bumper to bumper overview, service and inspection
* Maintenance of electronic systems including on board entertainment systems
* Undertaking repair and maintenance of vehicle parts including clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes and suspension.
* Completion of legible and accurate paperwork for the customers and centres records.
* Maintenance of a clean and tidy work environment.
Must Have a full English driving license
MOT testing qualification not essential, Willing to put right candidate through course
Hours Mon-Frid 8-5, occasional Saturday 8 -12 (notice given)

Well maintained and clean working environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: up to £40,000, subject to experience for the right candidate.

All cars with an mot due in August onwards will need to be tested as normal.

we are open and taking bookings now although due to the current circumstances some things are taking a little longer than usual

We are still open during this time, it is deemed essential to keep KEY WORKERS cars on the road, services and anything else needed on key workers vehicle’s only, we will also assist in breakdowns as best we can.

We are closely following gov guidelines, and will continue to update our website and Facebook account.

Our opening hours are 8.30-5.30.
Monday-Friday.
