It's not always full Factory Edition restomods...
This B GT V8 has been with us for a few months for a big list of upgrades!
The car was a little tired, burned a lot of oil, had engine and gearbox oil leaks, misfires, unpredictable suspension and a very clunky LT77 gearbox.. (the list goes on).
It leaves us with the following:
- A fully rebuilt 3.9L engine with over 200hp
- A Holley carburettor and RV8 exhaust manifolds
- Alloy radiator and high-power fan kit
- A Mazda 5-speed transmission
- Adjustable electronic power steering
- A fully rebuilt Frontline crossmember, including polybushes and our telescopic front damper kit.
- 5-Link rear suspension kit
- Four new Bridgestone tyres
- Restomod headlights
- A new Webasto sunroof with Mohair top and Alcantara internals
- A retrim of 80% of the interior including bespoke carpets
- Our sound and heat insulation package
- Apple CarPlay
The owner is looking forward to having confidence in the car for the first time since they purchased it. This B now covers ground effortlessly, and feels less like a tired classic, and more like a true sports car. The interior work has made for an elegant and luxurious cabin which is a joy to spend time in.
