For those of you waiting for better weather we still have some spaces available for CBT’s on the following dates.

March 27,28
April 1 to 12, 14 to 30

On completion of a CBT course you are entitled to ride up to a 125cc motorcycle or scooter for 2 years with L plates. (If aged 17 or over)

Standards of vision for driving
You must be able to read (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) a car number plate made after 1 September 2001 from 20 metres.

You must also meet the minimum eyesight standard for driving by having a visual acuity of at least decimal 0.5 (6/12) measured on the Snellen scale (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) using both eyes together or, if you have sight in one eye only, in that eye.

You must also have an adequate field of vision - your optician can tell you about this and do a test.

Just a reminder folks. When you come to do your CBT make sure your driving licence is in date. It needs to be renewed every 10 years.

Any day at the moment apart from the 9th and 30th.
