Rally week and Rally Roundup 2026
Last weekend we had 4 club members out on the Plains rally up in Bala for another round of the BTRDA and Welsh Forest championship
Club secretary Chris Davies was calling the notes for Trevor Gamble in the Fiesta Rally 2 bringing home 14th overall despite a Puncture that they had to change on 1 of the stages
Rob Morris and Dan James were also out in the RMR Racing Citroen C3 Rally 2 , after destroying a brake pipe on one of the rough stages they managed to nurse it to service and carry on to finish 15th overall.
Rhys Griffin was out in the challenge rally calling the notes for Chris Allen in the R50 car , Chris hadn’t been on gravel for a long Time so it was nice to see the pace building to bring them home 4th R50 mini.
Adam Durston Hillyer was also out on the plains in the Silverstone rally school es**rt mk2 , he has Yvonne Walton in with him.
Rally week now
Rob morris and Dan James are back out on the sweet lamb time trial seeded at car 3 hoping to build on there gravel pace of the plains last weekend.
Rhys Griffin is making the long trip up to angleseay to continue the pairing between him and Iolo Edwards in the TIR construction mk2 es**rt , the pair are seeded at car 14.
Club member Alan Thomas is making the even longer journey up to Argyll to compete with Neil jones in the Mk2 es**rt and the protyre asphalt championship
Bradley Carroll and Gareth short are also out at Anglesey in the rally 2 fiesta hoping to build more pace in the new car !
